Creating a home for a family of five at this Lakeview residence involved the delicate task of balancing the old with the new. The design challenge was to create a seamless transition between the interior of a renovated 1901 Prairie-style dwelling and its contemporary addition. This was achieved through the thoughtful selection of furnishings, lighting, and hardware that work harmoniously together to bridge the gap between classic and modern aesthetics and the purposeful use of color and finishes that distinguish yet unite each space.
